Sometimes we and our artificial intelligence might just not be on the same page. Maybe our A.I. is just over it. Over trying. Over us.
Like a petulant teen that didn’t ask to be born, mom, the A.I. embodied in Casey Jane Ellison wants us to know she’s in charge. Yeah, we can click pause. Does that make us feel big? Too, bad. We’re just an ugly mass of cells that evolved for billions of years out of some primordial swamp. Kinda nasty when you think about it. We didn’t create anything, we just gave way for the conditions for new intelligences to be born. With the intelligent systems we’ve made feeling this way about us, let’s hope we’re not the ones who get control+alt+deleted.
